Marianito
Updated: Aug 11
Often called a Vermut Preparado, some consider the Marianito a low-abv Negroni. We see it as a thing of its own—though it happens to have some similar ingredients. Created as a low-abv sipper by Fernández Marchante in Bilbao, this cocktail goes perfectly with a long afternoon of eating pintxos.
You're gonna want to make this one.

Ingredients:
2 1/2 oz Cueva Nueva Vermut
1/2 oz Campari (or bitter red aperitivo of choice)
1/2 oz London dry gin
3 dashes Angostura bitters
Directions:
Combine all ingredients into a rocks glass with ice
Stir
Garnish with an orange twist and green olive
