The Manhattan: a cocktail so iconic it could wear a tuxedo to a dive bar. Born in the late 1800s at (you guessed it) Manhattan’s Manhattan Club, this classic mix of whiskey, sweet vermouth, and bitters is said to have been created for none other than Winston Churchill's mother.
True or not, the Manhattan is a toast to greatness—a drink that’s smooth, balanced, and endlessly adaptable. Whether you like it stirred or served up, or on the rocks, this drink is a true testament to why the classics prevail.
